Human Warehouse Coming to Dallas County

We at CLEARDFW are monitoring closely the news of a potential mega-detention site, being planned by ICE in North Texas. Three of our members visited what could be the proposed site, yesterday afternoon.

To be clear: We are not certain where this site would be. But if reporting is correct, this is the site in Hutchins large enough for what is being reported.
Our sources inside ICE tell us CLEARDFW that the intention is to have this site up and running by the February/March period of this year. They have confirmed to us that the original Wapo story generally reflects a project now underway. To what extend the planning has complete, we don’t know. But we can tell you, this is a real idea, really being discussed.
Friends: This is grim news, and will continue and expand our calling to resist injustice and oppression here in North Texas.
We have been witnessing against ICE’s actions since May at the Field Office. And we promise that we will shine God’s light of justice on this process, and witness to the harm being done to our nation and county, any chance we get.
