Clergy League for Emergency Action
and Response
We are thrilled to hear the news today. We are honored that the reporting of our own Mara Bim and our CLEAR DFW press conference played a crucial role in bringing this to the public’s attention.
But the credit for this day belongs to all the people!
Thanks to the City of Hutchins, dozens of community groups, and hundreds of individuals who made their voices heard.
Never forget you that you have power!
● About
Who We Are
CLEAR is an interfaith coalition of 40 Dallas Area clergy who come together to advocate for issues of social justice from a faith perspective.
We represent Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, and other faith leaders from various North Texas Congregations and traditions. Faith Commons is a major supporter.
We’ve sponsored a weekly prayer vigil at the Dallas ICE Field Office, both praying for and accompanying migrants, while also praying that ICE act with justice and compassion.
Many other issues of social justice are important to our members: women’s reproductive rights, the LGBTQ community, racial justice, the environment, and more.
We are not formally connected to any specific faith tradition, or agency, but we do act based on our faith-based values and our calling as clergy within our various traditions.
